This full-year contract opportunity operates onsite, serving students across multiple grade levels. You’ll collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families, ensuring every child receives the academic, social, and behavioral interventions necessary for success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education is required.
  • Proven experience working with elementary students who have emotional and behavioral disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to building positive relationships with colleagues and families.
  • Organizational skills to manage an elementary caseload of up to 22 students across various grade levels.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and inclusive educational practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and direct support to students, delivering interventions aligned with IEP goals and accommodations.
  • Consult and collaborate with educational staff and related service providers to promote inclusive environments.
  • Foster positive classroom engagement and manage behaviors utilizing evidence-based strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of student progress, assessments, and communications.
