Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cary, NC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Appropriate licensure for practicing as an SLP in North Carolina
• Previous experience providing SLP services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and documentation skills
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities—able to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students using formal and informal assessment tools to identify speech/language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies based on student needs
• Deliver direct therapy sessions to students, both individually and in small groups, as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and specialists to integrate goals into the classroom environment and curriculum
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing input to multidisciplinary team planning
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services, progress, and compliance
• Provide family education and support to encourage participation in students’ therapy goals
