This assignment spans a selection of elementary, middle, and high school sites, offering variety and the possibility to combine schedules for a full-time role. Start your school year on August 10th, 2026, and make a positive impact through June 9th, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of Maryland
  • Credentialed SLP - CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience working in school settings is preferred
  • Expertise in delivering speech and language therapy, developing IEPs, and collaborating with educational teams
  • Commitment to working onsite (remote not available for this opening)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language intervention services to students at assigned school locations, ensuring compliance with IEP requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and communication with families and staff
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and support staff to develop strategies that foster student success
  • Screen, assess, and evaluate students referred for speech and language support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting

Assignment Locations (combine sites for FT/consistent hours):

  • Bollman Bridge ES, Clarksville ES, Forest Ridge ES, Swansfield ES (or Elkridge ES), Elkridge Landing MS, Hammond MS
  • Potential full-time split: Wilde Lake HS/Howard HS
