This position begins August 5th, 2026, and runs through June 4th, 2027, offering a stable, long-term assignment onsite near Goose Creek, SC. The professional selected will work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, directly impacting student success and communication access within educational environments.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certified and licensed as a Sign Language Interpreter in South Carolina (SC SLI required)
  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with a background in educational interpreting
  • Experience supporting K-12 student populations preferred
  • Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and adaptability in school-based settings
  • Comfortable working exclusively onsite at assigned locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, effective interpretation between students, staff, and others using ASL
