Location: Buntingford, Hertfordshire (SG9 9ER)
\nPay: £18.00 per hour (CIS)
\nHours: 40 hours per week

- Preferred shift: 1:00pm 10:00pm \n
- Alternative shift: 7:00am 4:00pm (for candidates unable to work late shifts) \n
Start Date: Immediate
\nDuration: Ongoing
\nWe are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Welder Fabricators to join a busy manufacturing workshop in Buntingford. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, skilled fabricators looking for ongoing work with a well-established company.
\nWorking within a specialist fabrication team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality steel components and assemblies, ensuring all work is completed accurately, safely and to specification.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- MIG welding and fabrication of steel components and sub-assemblies \n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings \n
- Setting out, drilling, cutting and preparing materials \n
- Operating workshop machinery including saws, drills and welding equipment \n
- Inspecting fabricated assemblies to ensure they are level, square and within tolerance \n
- Grinding and de-burring finished products ready for powder coating \n
- Completing quality assurance paperwork as required \n
- Following all health and safety procedures \n
- Reporting any defects or safety concerns to the Supervisor or Team Leader \n
- Working efficiently to meet production deadlines \n
- Assisting with training new operatives where required \n
Requirements
\nTo be considered, you must have:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator \n
- Good MIG welding experience \n
- Experience using workshop machinery \n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings \n
- Experience with manual fabrication processes \n
- Good written and spoken English \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills \n
