General Laborer

Job Title: General LabourerLocation: NorwichJob Type: Full-Time Salary: £13.50 p/h

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our growing team, supporting the installation of fire safety equipment and signage across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely as part of a team. Previous construction or installation experience is beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Assist with the installation of fire safety equipment and safety signage.
\n
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to work areas.
\n
• Prepare work sites and maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment.
\n
• Support installers with measuring, positioning, and fitting equipment.
\n
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
\n
• Follow site-specific health and safety procedures at all times.
\n
• Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to complete tasks independently.
\n
• Travel to various customer sites as required.
\n
• Carry out other general labouring duties as directed by the Site Supervisor.
\n

• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
\n
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a positive attitude.
\n
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
\n
• Ability to work at height when required (training provided where necessary).
\n
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
\n

• Previous experience in construction, labouring, or installation work.
\n
• Experience using hand and power tools.
\n
• Knowledge of fire safety systems or signage installation (advantageous but not essential).
