Repairs Scheduler
Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Repairs Scheduler on a temporary eight-week contract.
\nThe position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £19.00 an hour Umbrella.
\nThe ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of repair requests and coordinate appointments effectively. They will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and confident using scheduling systems in a fast-paced housing environment.
\nDuties will include (but are not limited to):

- Scheduling responsive, routine, and emergency repair appointments for residents \n
- Liaising with operatives, contractors, and residents to coordinate repairs effectively \n
- Monitoring outstanding repair jobs and proactively following up to ensure completion \n
- Updating and maintaining accurate records on housing management and scheduling systems \n
- Prioritising repair requests in line with organisational policies and service standards \n
- Providing residents with timely updates regarding repair appointments and progress \n
- Managing appointment changes, cancellations, and rescheduling requirements \n
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving repair-related issues professionally \n
- Supporting the delivery of repair performance targets and service standards \n
- Escalating complex cases and contractor performance concerns where appropriate \n
Experience required:

- Experience scheduling repairs, maintenance works, or operational appointments in a busy environment \n
- Experience delivering excellent customer service and handling enquiries professionally \n
- Experience using housing management, CRM, or scheduling systems \n
- Experience coordinating with contractors, operatives, or multiple stakeholders \n
- Experience maintaining accurate records and updating databases \n
- Experience prioritising workloads and managing competing demands to meet deadline \n
Working hours:

- 37 hours per week \n
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm \n
