We’re looking for an Administration Assistant to join our Commercial Claims team in Tamworth. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to start a career in an office environment and develop valuable business skills in a supportive team.

As part of our claims operation, you’ll help ensure claims are recorded accurately, communications are issued promptly, and important administrative processes run smoothly. Your work will help set claims up for success from the very beginning and make a real difference to our clients’ experience.

As an Administration Assistant, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of commercial claims. Working closely with your Team Leader and colleagues, you’ll help ensure information is recorded accurately, claims are acknowledged promptly, and key processes are completed within agreed standards.
\n\n
You’ll play an important role in keeping our operation running efficiently by supporting administrative activities, managing documentation, maintaining records and assisting with office processes. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will help ensure our clients receive a professional and efficient service from the moment a claim is received.

Key responsibilities include:

- Recording claims accurately using company systems and product standards \n
- Acknowledging claims and issuing standard correspondence to clients \n
- Supporting diary management processes and task tracking \n
- Assisting with general office administration, including post, printing, ordering supplies and maintaining equipment \n
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation \n
- Following Gallagher Bassett procedures and quality standards \n
- Helping ensure administrative tasks are completed within agreed timeframes \n
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider claims team \n

- You enjoy working in an office-based environment and are keen to build a long-term career \n
- You can use Microsoft Word and Excel to complete day-to-day administrative tasks \n
- You can organise and prioritise your workload when managing multiple tasks \n
- You pay close attention to detail and can maintain accurate records \n
- You can communicate clearly in writing and when speaking with colleagues and clients \n
- You can identify issues and seek appropriate solutions when challenges arise \n
- You can manage your time effectively and meet deadlines \n
- You can handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately \n
- You take ownership of your work and can work independently when needed \n
- You can adapt when priorities change and remain focused on delivering a high standard of service \n
