EARTHWORKS SCHEME - BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SCHEME - SEPTEMBER 2026 PAID CIS* We're Hiring: Freelance Site Engineer Location: Bradford Sectors: Civils earthworks scheme Day rate: £320 to £420 per day Duration: Ongoing We are hiring for Freelance Site Engineer's for an upcoming earthworks scheme in Bradford working on a Battery Energy Storage. The engineer would need to be comfortable with earthworks, volumes, calculations, 3D models. Key Responsibilities of a Freelance Site Engineer: Manage and supervise day-to-day earthworks and civils activities ensuring works are completed safely and accurately in accordance to drawings and spec. Set out and monitor cut/fill levels, formation levels, platform levels, drainage etc Review drawings, spec, and 3D models Produce and maintain earthworks calculations Work closely with the CM, PM, and SM, alongside subcontractors Maintain accurate site recordsExperience Required for the Freelance Site Engineer: Proven experience as a site engineer (earthworks) Strong setting out experience using modern surveying equipment Ability to read and interpret drawings Experience working with subcontractors CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid (desriable not essential), engineering qualification.Day rate/salary: Day rate flexible Weekly pay on a FridayHow to apply: Please apply directly to this job ad or for more information please call Sam at Fawkes & Reece on (phone number removed)
