IT Specialist - Skilled Line 2 support/Line 3 support

\nJob Summary
\n Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our dynamic team.
The role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving IT systems, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the company's infrastructure, and providing Level 2 and Level 3 support with escalation where appropriate.
\nResponsibilities Include:
\nMaintain core IT systems: Support the management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, Servers, and business critical applications.
\nProvide Level 2 technical support to Users (Desktop & Remote Support)
\nProvide Level 3 infrastructure support
\nInstall and configure systems: Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems, applications, and software.
\nUser life cycle management: Provision new starters and deprovision leavers across all relevant systems.
\nEnsure data security: Maintain the integrity of data security and support compliance with internal and external standards.
\nMaintain CyberEssentials Plus: Support ongoing compliance and ensure security controls remain effective.
\nMonitor system performance: Track system health, identify risks, and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.
\nManage IT resources: Oversee hardware, software, licenses, and asset life cycles to ensure efficient utilisation.
\nExperience & Skills
\nMicrosoft Infrastructure, Desktop & Remote Support Role
\nRelevant Degree qualification or qualified by experience
\nActive Directory and Group Policy Objects.
\nExchange Hybrid environments
\nCloud Office 365 support
\nProficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
\nExperience with system administration and IT security practices.
\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.
\nDesirable Skills
\n. VMware infrastructure role.
\n. Networks & VLANS.
\n. Experience with remote assistance tools (PDQ, LogMeIn, TeamViewer).
\nLocated in Winsford, Cheshire, the hours are 40 per week, hybrid. Flexible; however core hours are 7.30-4:30 Mon-Thurs with 1pm finish on a Friday. The role is mainly on-site so please apply if you are within a commutable distance.
\nSalary £40,000-£50,000 plus benefits, depending on level of experience
