Handyman / Maintenance Operative - East London

Our client, based in East London, is looking for a reliable and experienced Handyman/Maintenance Operative to join their team.

Essential Requirements:

\n
• Valid DBS certificate
\n
• L8 Awareness certification (Legionella risk awareness in line with HSE ACOP L8)
\n
• Knowledge of basic water system safety control measures
\n

Key Skills & Experience:

\n
• Competent in carrying out general DIY and maintenance tasks
\n
• Changing light bulbs and completing minor repairs
\n
• Basic plumbing experience, including:\n
  \n
  • Repairing pipes and taps
  \n
  • Fixing leaks
  \n
  • Replacing tap cartridges and washers
  \n
  • Resealing pipework
  \n
  • Repairing or replacing U-bends
  \n
\n
• General maintenance and repair work
\n

Working Hours:

\n
• Monday to Friday
\n
• 10:00am - 6:30pm
\n
• 1-hour paid break
\n
