HGV Class 1 Tipper Driver (C+E)Location: Tees Dock Road, MiddlesbroughSalary: £37,756 per annum (£16.88 per hour)Contract: Fixed Term Contract – minimum 5 MonthsHours: Up to 40 hours per week | 4 shifts out of 7 | Days and Nights (uplift for different shift times and days)Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Northumbrian Water for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tipper Driver based at Tees Dock Road, Middlesbrough.This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the region's leading utility companies, playing a key role in supporting wastewater operations across the North East.The RoleAs an HGV C+E Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting sludge products from Northumbrian Water's sewage treatment works across the North East to treatment facilities.Key responsibilities include:\n

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
\n
• Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and O-Licence requirements
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting in line with DVSA standards
\n
• Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant vehicle at all times
\n
• Safely loading and unloading tanker equipment in accordance with Northumbrian Water Health & Safety procedures
\n
• Promoting and supporting the "Everyone Home Safe Everyday" culture
\n
• Driving in a fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible manner
\n
• Delivering excellent service whilst representing Northumbrian Water professionally
\n

What We're Looking For:\n

\n
• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
\n
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
\n
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
\n
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Good understanding of EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
\n
• Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance
\n
