As the organisation continues to expand, they are seeking a confident and commercially focused HR Manager to lead its operational HR function, manage a small HR team and provide expert support across the wider business.This is a highly visible, on-site role where you'll work closely with managers and employees, take ownership of complex employee relations matters and deliver practical HR solutions. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the operation and wants to play a key role in shaping a responsive, approachable and high-quality HR service.THE ROLEAs HR Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day HR function across the group, ensuring managers receive clear, commercially focused advice and all people processes remain compliant, consistent and effective.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and manage employee relations matters across the group, ensuring best practice and compliance with UK employment legislationAdvise, coach and support managers on performance management, employment law, HR policies and proceduresManage complex casework including disciplinary and grievance processes, absence management, TUPE transfers, organisational restructures and consultationLead, motivate and develop a small HR team, monitoring workloads and maintaining an efficient, high-quality serviceOversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation, performance reviews, employee development and offboardingSupport accurate HR administration and assist the team with payroll-related queriesReview, update and implement HR policies, processes and proceduresPromote employee wellbeing, welfare, engagement and recognition initiativesProvide operational managers with practical support on day-to-day people mattersManage HR, ATS and scheduling systems, supporting new system implementations where requiredDrive continuous improvement across the HR department and ensure the function remains visible, approachable and engagedABOUT YOUWe're looking for an experienced and credible HR professional who can confidently manage complex employee relations matters while leading a small team in a high-volume environment.ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCEDemonstrable experience in an HR Manager or senior operational HR roleExperience within security, events, high-volume hospitality, logistics, retail or a similarly fast-paced workforce environmentCIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualificationExtensive employee relations experience and strong knowledge of UK employment legislationProven experience managing disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, TUPE and restructuring processesPrevious experience leading, motivating and developing an HR teamStrong relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence managers at all levelsExperience using HR, ATS and workforce scheduling systems, alongside strong Microsoft Excel skillsA proactive, hands-on and commercially focused approachA full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for occasional travel between sitesWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?Salary of up to £50,000, dependent on experienceCompany pension schemeHoliday entitlementEmployee discountsVirtual GP schemeHealth and wellbeing programmeRegular team eventsFree on-site parkingThe opportunity to play a key role within a growing and dynamic organisationIf you're an experienced HR Manager who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and has a passion for employee relations, we'd love to hearBy sending an application or applying for a job, you consent to your personal data being processed and stored by Get Recruited (UK) Ltd in accordance with our Cookie & Privacy Policy (available in the footer on our website).
