Job Description
Established for 40 years, our client, a food wholesaler, has built up an enviable reputation for its commitment to consistently providing a professional service to its prestigious hospitality customers whilst maintaining the highest quality of products. They now seek to recruit an experienced part-time Administrator to join their existing team.
\n\nReporting directly to one of the Directors, your typical daily duties will include:
\n\n-Working early shifts
\n-Inputting orders received during the night, in preparation for commencement of production
\n-Taking & processing orders by phone and email
\n-Handling customer queries by phone or email
\n-Taking card payments for goods over the phone
\n-Handling cash
\n-Liaising with the company’s drivers regarding customer deliveries
\n-Dealing with a range of basic finance-related tasks (full training provided)
\n\n\nAs Administrator you'll need:
\n\n-The ability to multi-task
\n-To be capable of working at a fast pace
\n-A good eye for detail
\n-To enjoy a varied role
\n-The ability to pick things up quickly
\n-Fast keyboard skills
\n\nN.B. Hours of work are 4.30am to 7.30am, across five days a week, with 2 in 4 or 3 in 4 Saturday mornings till 12pm (no Sundays).
\nDaytime hours are available on Mondays too – either returning at 9am or 9:30am and working until 2:30pm or 3pm OR working through from 4:30am to 1:30pm (to be agreed/discussed).
