The Role

\n

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide expert HR support across a diverse workforce. This is a varied generalist HR role, offering guidance and practical support to managers and employees on a range of people-related matters.

\n

Reporting into the HR team, you will play a key role in supporting employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management and absence management, whilst ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with current employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures and employee relations matters.
  • \n
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including coordinating interviews, candidate communication and onboarding processes.
  • \n
  • Assisting with performance management and absence management cases.
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • \n
  • Supporting the implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
  • \n
  • Preparing HR reports and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • \n
  • Building effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • \n
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver a high-quality HR service.

About You

\n

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR position and be confident managing a broad range of HR responsibilities.

Skills & Experience:

\n
    \n
  • Experience providing HR advice and support on employee relations, performance management and policy application.
  • \n
  • Strong recruitment and onboarding experience.
  • \n
  • Excellent administration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • \n
  • The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • \n
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • \n
  • CIPD qualification, or working towards CIPD accreditation, would be advantageous.
  • \n
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • \n
