Accounts Assistant

An established and growing business is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchase ledger or accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
\n
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
\n
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating queries
\n
• Managing supplier and customer enquiries via phone and email
\n
• Supporting month-end processes and finance administration tasks
\n
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation systems
\n

What We're Looking For:

\n
• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role
\n
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
\n
• Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
\n
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
\n
• Knowledge of accounting systems would be advantageous
\n
