Dental Nurse - Orthodontic Practice

Location: Aligndent Grove House, Northfleet

Aligndent Grove House is a modern, friendly orthodontic practice based in Northfleet, and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse or a Trainee Dental Nurse currently enrolled on an accredited dental nursing course who is eager to develop their skills within a specialist orthodontic environment.

• Monday to Friday

• One Saturday per month

About You

We are looking for someone who:

\n
• Is GDC registered (qualified applicants), or is a Trainee Dental Nurse enrolled on a recognised dental nursing course
\n
• Has orthodontic experience (desirable but not essential)
\n
• Has an understanding of CQC standards, cross-infection control, HTM guidance, safeguarding, and current dental regulations
\n
• Is organised, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team
\n
• Has excellent communication skills and a caring, professional approach to patient care
\n
• Is keen to learn and develop within a specialist orthodontic practice
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Assisting clinicians during orthodontic procedures
\n
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
\n
• Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, infection prevention protocols, and practice policies
\n
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
\n
• Sterilisation and decontamination of instruments
\n
• Supporting patients throughout their orthodontic journey
\n
• Working closely with the clinical and reception teams to deliver an outstanding patient experience
\n
