Mobile Maintenance OperativeMeridian are working with a well-established M&E contractor that are growing their regionalised FM team and are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover the South Wales and Bristol areas. This role will involve supporting Engineers on various FM and PPM of commercial projects in these areas, and offers a full, competitive package alongside additional earning potential.Benefits include (but are not exclusive to):Starting salary of c.£28k - £32k p.a (negotiable DoE)Company van and fuel cardOvertime opportunitiesOn-call rota for further additional earning potentialTraining opportunities and many examples of career progression within this companyImmediate start available (subject to successful application process)Working on a variety of commercial maintenance jobs within the regionWork mobile and tabletEnrolled in company pension scheme31 daysholiday (including Bank Holidays)Requirements for this role:Construction or M&E experiencePrevious FM/PPM experience, ideally on commercial projectsFull UK Driving Licence - there will be travel involved in this roleNo specific qualification or card required, open to different trade backgroundsDuties include (but are not exclusive to):Assisting with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building systemsCarrying out basic fault finding and diagnostics on low-voltage (LV) and mechanical systemsAssisting with emergency lighting testing and minor repairsUndertaking general property repairs and basic maintenance tasksHelping to keep site and plant room areas clean, tidy, and operationalSupporting basic electrical maintenance and the removal of faulty equipmentCarrying out small, independent installation works and remedial repairsEnsuring compliance with on-site health & safety proceduresCompleting job reports and updating CAFM systems with completed worksLiaising with clients, site managers and engineers to ensure the smooth completion and handover of workParticipating in an on-call rota (where required)If you're looking to join a growing and reputable M&E building services contractor as a Mobile Maintenance Operative then please apply directly to the advert or email for more informationMeridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
