Managing Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading Tier 1 main contractor, is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their Thames Valley business. This Managing Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to commercially lead a flagship £90m refurbishment and life sciences project based in Oxford.The successful Managing Quantity Surveyor will take full commercial responsibility for the project from pre-construction through to final account, leading the commercial team and working closely with operational and client teams throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Lead the commercial delivery of a major construction project.Manage procurement, subcontractor accounts and final accounts.Produce CVRs, forecasts and cost reports.Manage variations, change control and commercial risk.Lead and mentor the project commercial team.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the supply chain.Requirements:Experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or a Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a Managing Quantity Surveyor role.Previous experience with a Tier 1 or established main contractor.Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion.Strong knowledge of JCT contracts, procurement, CVRs and cost reporting.Experience leading commercial teams.Experience delivering refurbishment, commercial, healthcare, education or life sciences projects is desirable.Salary: £110,000 - £120,000 + Package + Bonus.TPBN1_UKTJ
