Commercial Electrician / Cable Terminator (35mm - 50mm SWA)Location: SW1Salary / Rate: £280 per dayHours / Shift: Day Shift: 08:00 - 16:00Contract Type: Contract / TemporarySector: Electrical Infrastructure / Commercial Fit-OutAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting an experienced Commercial Electrician / Cable Terminator on behalf of a leading electrical contractor working across major commercial sites.This project requires a confident, efficient spark or specialist glanding technician to handle the installation, pulling, glanding, and terminating of 35mm to 50mm Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) cables on a high-profile commercial development.Key Details:Pay Rate: £280 per dayWorking Hours: 08:00 to 16:00 (Standard Day Shift)Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possibleKey Responsibilities:Pulling, routing, and securing 35mm-50mm SWA cables safely along containment systems (ladder, tray, and trunking).Precise glanding, stripping, and terminating of SWA cables into distribution boards, panels, and isolation switches.Assisting with initial testing and dead testing where required.Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site at all times.Requirements:Proven track record working with 35mm to 50mm SWA cables in commercial or industrial environments.JIB / ECS Gold Card (or relevant ECS / CSCS electrical card).18th Edition wiring regulations (advantageous).Full personal tool kit suited for SWA glanding and terminating, along with standard PPE.Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a site team.How to ApplyIf you are available for an immediate start and have the right hands-on experience, please apply today with your updated CV or call Paul Letts at Gapp Search on 07441 343 851 for more details.TPBN1_UKTJ
