Job Description

Electrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer We're looking for an Electrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering bespoke industrial machinery.This is a varied, hands-on position, with approximately 60% of your time spent at the manufacturing site supporting machine build, testing and validation, and 40% spent travelling to customer sites for installation, commissioning and technical support.The role offers regular UK and international travel, with projects typically taking you to customer sites across India, China, the USA and Europe.What You'll Do as anElectrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer Support the electrical build of bespoke machineryTest, validate and fault-find complete systemsInstall and commission equipment at customer sitesCarry out Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT)Diagnose electrical and control system faultsProvide planned maintenance, upgrades and technical supportProduce commissioning reports and technical documentationWork with engineering teams to improve products and processesWhat You'll Bringas anElectrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical EngineeringExperience commissioning, servicing or supporting industrial machinery or bespoke OEM equipmentStrong electrical fault-finding skillsKnowledge of PLC-controlled industrial systemsAbility to read electrical schematics and technical drawingsPractical experience installing and commissioning industrial equipmentExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsA proactive, hands-on approachA full driving licence and the ability to travel regularly within the UK and internationallyDesirable Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCsKnowledge of Profinet, Ethernet/IP or ModbusAutoCAD or EPLAN experienceMachinery safety and compliance knowledgeExperience with automated or high-power industrial equipmentWhat's On Offer?
