Behaviour MentorWiltshire - Rowde | Full/Part time available | £85-£110 per day | September 2026 StartWe are looking for a dedicated, empathetic and resilient Behaviour Mentor to a welcoming school located in Wilshire - Rowde to provide tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This rewarding Behaviour Mentor role focuses on promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning by building trusting relationships and implementing proactive child centred strategies.As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teachers to help children understand and manage their emotions, develop positive relationships and overcome barriers to learning. Your support will enable the children to feel safe, valued and confident, allowing them to thrive academically and socially.The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor you will:Build positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence, self-esteem and emotional wellbeingProvide consistent one-to-one support throughout the school dayImplement personalised behaviour support plans and positive behaviour strategiesSupport the child to develop emotional regulation, resilience and appropriate social skillsIdentify potential triggers and use proactive strategies to prevent escalationRespond calmly and effectively to behaviours of concern using restorative and trauma-informed approachesFollow safeguarding health and safety and school polices at all timeAbout YouThis Behaviour Mentor role would suit someone who:Has experience working with children or young people who require additional behavioural or emotional supportHas a calm, patient and compassionate approachUnderstands that behaviour is a form of communication and is committed to identifying and addressing underlying needsCan remain resilient and positive in challenging situationsThis Behaviour Mentor would be particularly suitable for individuals with experience or aspirations in the follow:Behaviour SupportPastoral CareSpecial Education Needs Disabilities (SEND)PsychologyWhat we offerThis Behaviour Mentor role provides:£85-£110 per day, depending on experiencePAYE - Weekly payFull and Part time roles starting in September 2026If you are passionate about supporting children to overcome barriers, build resilience and achieve their full potential, we would love to hear from you.
