Working Site Foreman

Due to continued expansion and exciting new projects on the horizon, we currently have a vacancy for an experienced Construction Site Foreman to join our growing construction team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys leading projects on site, maintaining high standards of workmanship and working as part of a close-knit team. Therefore, our successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the necessary leadership, knowledge, enthusiasm and diligence to safely deliver projects to the highest possible standard, enhancing our reputation and providing a positive reflection of the company.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDirectly report to Site ManagementLead and Supervise 1 -2 groundworks gangs, subcontractors and suppliers.Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.Coordinate labour, plant, materials and deliveries.Ensure compliance with RAMS, Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.Monitor quality throughout construction and ensure work is completed to specification.Liaise with clients, project managers, subcontractors and internal office staff.Identify and resolve site issues proactively.Assist with planning works and sequencing construction activities.Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and site documentation.Promote a positive working environment and lead by example.Desired Skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Good understanding of construction methods and sequencing.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.Strong problem-solving ability and practical decision making.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to motivate site teams to deliver high-quality work.Experience managing industrial, commercial and agricultural construction projects would be advantageous.Ability to work independently whilst contributing to the wider project team.Experience Essential Proven experience as a Working Site Foreman or Site Supervisor.Experience coordinating multiple trades on live construction sites.Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.Desirable Experience working with in-house labour and subcontractors.Temporary Works Awareness.Qualifications Essential SSSTS or SMSTS.CSCS Card.Full UK Driving Licence.Desirable NVQ Level 3 or above in Construction Site Supervision or related discipline.CPCS/NPORS qualifications.Temporary Works Supervisor.Appointed Person or Lift Supervisor qualifications.Schedule Full-time position.Mainly Monday to Friday.Site-based role.Projects located predominantly throughout Yorkshire, with occasional national travel where required.Remuneration & Benefits Competitive rates of pay, negotiable based on ability, attitude and experience.Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (subject to agreement).Company mobile phone.Employed position.Paid monthly.Annual leave.Employer pension contribution.Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.We are committed to supporting inclusivity and diversity within the construction industry, welcoming applications from all.
