This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing Monday to Friday night work, excellent hourly rates, immediate starts and genuine long-term opportunities within a professional transport operation.This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, Category CE Driver, C+E Driver, Trunk Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, HGV Driver or Commercial Driver .Shifts• Monday to Friday• 19:00 start times• Minimum 8 hours paid per shiftRates of Pay• £18.00 per hour• Weekly payBenefitsAs an HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights , you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing and consistent work• Monday to Friday working• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift• Immediate starts available• Weekly pay• Employee Wellbeing ProgrammeDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights , your duties will include:• Driving and operating Category C+E (Class 1) vehicles safely and efficiently• Operating double-decker trailers• Completing deliveries and collections across designated routes• Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections• Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant before transport• Completing delivery paperwork accurately• Following Driver Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive and all road traffic legislation• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly• Assisting with loading and unloading where requiredEssential SkillsTo be successful in this role, you will need:• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence• Valid Driver CPC Card• Valid Digital Tachograph Card• Minimum of 12 months' Class 1 driving experience• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes• Good spoken and written English• Excellent timekeeping and reliability• Professional and safety-focused approachDesirable Experience• Previous experience operating double-decker trailers• Previous trunking or commercial Class 1 driving experience• Experience working within a fast-paced transport operationTraining Provided• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights role offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday work, ongoing assignments and immediate starts, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch to discuss the role further.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
