Position- Fabric Engineer/ Maintenance Operative (Fabric)Location- Bullring, BirminghamJob Type- FulltimeShift type- RotationalCore Responsibilities:Planned and reactive maintenance: painting, joinery, minor building repairsUpdate completed PPM tasks on computerised maintenance systemAssist specialist subcontractors with PPM and reactive worksMaintain accurate site records and documentationInspect services and proactively manage call-outs/repairsAttend site emergencies outside normal working hoursWork at high level using platforms and laddersMaintain company-issued tools in safe, serviceable conditionEssential Requirements:City & Guilds / NVQ in Carpentry, Joinery, Construction & BuildingPrevious team working experienceCustomer service skillsCompetent knowledge of building fabric: joinery, painting, small building worksKey Conditions:Must reside near Bullring Birmingham (available for call-out)The incumbent will be required to adopt a flexible approach to working hours to suit the needs of the retail sector.
