Field Service Engineer - Forklift

Field Service Engineer Location: West Yorkshire (Field-Based)Salary: £16.50 per hour, rising to £17.50 per hour upon successful completion of probation.Benefits: Company Van | Bonus Scheme | Overtime Available | Permanent PositionThe Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing materials handling business. Working across a regional customer base, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment, ensuring customers receive a first-class service.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that genuinely values its engineers, offering a competitive hourly rate, company vehicle, and a new performance-based bonus scheme , providing the opportunity to earn additional income based on completed site visits.The Role Carry out planned servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults efficiently.Complete repairs to a high standard, minimising customer downtime.Attend customer sites across your designated region.Complete service documentation accurately using company systems.Maintain excellent customer relationships and represent the business professionally.Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.About You To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience servicing, maintaining or repairing forklift trucks or materials handling equipment.You'll ideally have experience with:Counterbalance and Reach TrucksElectric, Diesel and LPG Forklift TrucksMechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical Fault FindingMobile Field Service or Workshop EngineeringApplicants from recognised materials handling manufacturers or dealerships are highly encouraged to apply.You should also:Hold a full UK Driving Licence.Be confident working independently in a customer-facing environment.Have strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.Be organised, reliable and committed to delivering excellent service.Package £16.50 per hourRising to £17.50 per hour following successful probationNew performance bonus scheme with additional earning potential based on completed site visitsCompany VanCompany Mobile PhoneOngoing Training & DevelopmentOvertime OpportunitiesPermanent, Full-Time PositionIf you're an experienced Field Service Engineer with a background in forklift trucks or materials handling equipment and are looking to join a business that rewards performance and invests in its engineers, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
