Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their growing team in Folkestone. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies that support business growth and maximise profitability.

• Identify new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers to increase revenue.

• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients across a range of logistics services.

• Work closely with operational teams to ensure customers receive a seamless and tailored service that exceeds expectations.

• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and service solutions that deliver value for both the customer and the business.

• Monitor commercial performance, ensuring healthy profit margins are achieved across all accounts.
\n
• Attend customer meetings, networking events, and site visits to strengthen partnerships and identify future opportunities.

• Analyse market trends and customer requirements to support strategic business decisions.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a Commercial Manager, Business Development, or senior sales role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry is essential.

• A strong understanding of air, sea, and road freight operations, together with warehousing and customs services.

• A proven ability to identify commercial opportunities and deliver sustainable business growth.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
