Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Location: London Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across London and the South East. Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties, you'll benefit from a varied workload, supportive management, and genuine long-term career progression. THE ROLE As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of client sites throughout London. Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will deliver high-quality surveying and analytical services while ensuring full compliance with HSG264, HSG248, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248 Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple client sites Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential) Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable Full UK driving licence Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work WHAT'S ON OFFER £38,000-£43,000 basic salary Company vehicle provided Company pension scheme Ongoing training and professional development Structured workload with strong operational support Permanent, long-term opportunity with excellent career progression If you are interested in this role, contact Joel Bland on (phone number removed) or email
