Mechanical Construction Manager – Healthcare Project London, UK £80,000 + Accommodation + Travel + living Allowance I'm recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join a leading international engineering contractor delivering a major healthcare project in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile hospital project, managing mechanical construction activities from installation through to handover. You'll be working in a live healthcare environment, so previous experience on hospital or healthcare projects would be highly advantageous. As Mechanical Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for leading site teams, managing subcontractors, driving health & safety, coordinating mechanical installations, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Manage mechanical construction works on site. * Lead and coordinate subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams. * Ensure the highest standards of health & safety and quality. * Plan labour resources and site activities. * Oversee installation progress and programme delivery. * Manage materials procurement and site logistics. * Train and mentor apprentices and junior engineers. * Support testing, commissioning, and client handover. * Report progress to the Project Manager and resolve site issues. Requirements * Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent. * Previous experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or Mechanical Supervisor. * Strong understanding of mechanical building services. * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams. * Previous healthcare or hospital project experience is highly desirable. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
