Tax Litigation NQ or Paralegal

THE ROLE

For a newly qualified or junior solicitor/experienced paralegal in the Tax Disputes team dealing with contentious tax disputes matters.

\n The successful candidate will be someone looking for a career in tax disputes/controversy and will have some experience.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will ideally have some background or experience in insolvency related matters in the following areas:-

A general understanding of Tax Dispute work including a general knowledge of how HMRC operates, and some knowledge of the Tax Tribunal procedures.

Some work experience in a Tax Disputes related business environment;

Experience in undertaking legal research and drafting legal documents using appropriate precedents and templates;

You will be involved in providing support to the Tax disputes team in carrying out legal work under supervision;
