Part 2 Architectural AssistantLocation: TruroSalary: £27-30,000An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a respected architectural practice in Truro. The practice delivers high-quality residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, with a strong focus on thoughtful, sustainable design. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience across a varied project portfolio while working alongside an experienced and supportive team. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Assist with the development of creative design proposals and technical solutions.
    • \n
  • Support project teams across all RIBA work stages.
    • \n
  • Prepare planning, Building Regulations and construction drawing packages.
    • \n
  • Produce high-quality drawings, visualisations and presentation material.
    • \n
  • Coordinate information with clients, consultants and contractors under the guidance of senior team members.
    • \n
  • Attend project meetings and site visits as required.
    • \n
  • Assist with technical detailing and project documentation.
    • \n
  • Ensure work is delivered accurately, on programme and in line with current Building Regulations and industry best practice.
    • \n
About You\n
    \n
  • Part 2 qualified.
    • \n
  • Experience working within a UK architectural practice (either as a Part 1 or Part 2.)
    • \n
  • Strong design flair with excellent presentation and technical drawing skills.
    • \n
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and other industry-standard software.
    • \n
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
    • \n
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • \n
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to continue developing your professional knowledge.
    • \n
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • \n
