Architect
\nLocation: Dorking
\nSalary: £35-43,000
\nI am working with a RIBA chartered practice to find a talented Senior Architect with a passion for creative designs to join their team in Dorking. The team works across the Residential, Healthcare and Education sectors and have a keen interest in sustainability and are aiming to be net-zero over the next few years, so would like the Senior Architect to share this goal.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery and coordination of architectural projects. \n
- Produce Building Regulations applications, tender documentation and construction drawing packages. \n
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, planning officers, Building Control, consultants and contractors. \n
- Prepare feasibility studies, Design and Access Statements, planning applications and supporting documentation. \n
- Develop project specifications using NBS where required. \n
- Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and industry standards. \n
- Carry out site visits, project meetings and technical inspections as required. \n
- Provide technical and administrative support throughout the lifecycle of each project. \n
- \n
- ARB registered Architect with up to four years' post-registration experience. \n
- A solid understanding of UK construction methods, detailing and technical design. \n
- Experience using NBS for specification writing would be beneficial. \n
- Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit, with good working knowledge of AutoCAD. \n
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. \n
- Well organised, self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload. \n
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. \n
