Peripatetic Woodwind Teacher (Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone)
\nStarting date: September 2026
\nWe are seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic Woodwind Teacher to join our dynamic Music Department on a self-employed basis.
\nThe successful candidate will teach flute, clarinet and saxophone to pupils of varying ages and abilities, helping them to develop confidence, musicality and technical skill. We are looking for an excellent communicator who can nurture and inspire young musicians, offering a holistic approach to teaching that may include preparing pupils for ABRSM examinations while also embracing a range of musical styles, including jazz, pop and classical music.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving co-curricular music programme and encourage pupils to achieve their full potential, whether they are beginners or advanced performers.
\nThe position is offered on a self-employed basis at the current rate of £26.50 per 35-minute lesson. Currently we anticipate 6 to 8 lessons (3 to 4 hours, scheduled to fall in one half day).
