We're recruiting for a Demand Planner to join a well-established manufacturer of industrial products based in Leighton Buzzard. This is a business that genuinely values its people, offering a friendly, family-oriented culture where everyone works together towards shared goals.

You'll play a key role in ensuring customer demand is met by producing accurate demand forecasts, coordinating production schedules and working closely with Customer Service, Warehouse and Production teams to keep operations running smoothly.

What you'll be doing\n
    \n
  • Producing accurate demand forecasts and production schedules.
  • \n
  • Creating weekly dispatch plans in collaboration with the Customer Service and Warehouse teams.
  • \n
  • Preparing production works orders.
  • \n
  • Working closely with internal departments to understand customer requirements and production capacity.
  • \n
  • Producing sales, operations and supply chain reports.
  • \n
  • Monitoring demand trends and helping drive continuous improvements to planning processes.
  • \n
  • Supporting the achievement of key business KPIs through effective planning and scheduling.
  • \n
What we're looking for\n

We're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, planning ahead and working collaboratively.

Ideally you'll have:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience within Demand Planning or Production Planning.
  • \n
  • Previous experience using SAP.
  • \n
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • \n
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • \n
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and communicate effectively across multiple departments.
  • \n
  • A proactive mindset with a commercial approach to planning.
  • \n
