Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools, grinding equipment, and polishing machines to smooth and finish metal surfaces.

  • Prepare sheet metal components for assembly by removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections.

  • Assist with fabrication processes including welding, assembly, and basic tooling tasks as required.
  • \n
  • Conduct inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.
  • \n
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately within deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in fabrication, grinding, welding, or similar mechanical roles is preferred.

  • Knowledge of sheet metal handling and the use of hand tools and tooling is essential.

  • Familiarity with assembly processes and mechanical knowledge will be advantageous.
