FLT Counterbalance Driver – Stoke-on-Trent

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Counterbalance Truck Driver, FLT Operator, or Forklift Truck Driver.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday• 07:15 - 15:15

Rates of Pay:

• £13.20 - £14.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operating a Counterbalance Truck safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse• Loading and unloading goods• Receiving and booking goods into the warehouse• Checking incoming and outgoing stock for quantity and visual quality• Organising stock ready for dispatch• Moving stock to the correct warehouse locations• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times• Supporting general warehouse duties when required

Essential Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance Truck licence (in-house licences will also be considered for the right candidates)• Good communication skills• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Good spatial awareness• The ability to work independently and as part of a team• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience working as an FLT Counterbalance Driver within a warehouse environment

Training:

• FLT assessment prior to starting work• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
