Fabricator / WelderCertain Advantage are hiring for a Fabricator/Welder based in Skelmersdale on an initial contract basis.We are working with a well-established manufacturer specialising in bespoke equipment and fabricated assemblies supplied into a range of demanding industries including:\n

• Subsea
\n
• Nuclear
\n

Your Responsibilities\n

\n
• Fabricating and welding bespoke equipment and assemblies to engineering specifications
\n
• Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
\n
• Carrying out high-quality MIG welding operations
\n
• Ensuring all fabrication and welding work meets required quality standards
\n
• Working independently and as part of a production team
\n
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
\n

The individual: \n

\n
• Have previous experience within heavy engineering or bespoke manufacturing environments
\n
• Be competent in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
\n
• Demonstrate a high standard of fabrication and MIG welding
\n
• Have experience welding to coded standards (preferred)
\n
• TIG welding experience would be advantageous
\n
• Be reliable, motivated, and capable of producing work to a high standard
\n
