FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading legal services business with the recruitment of an HR Officer.

Permanent, full-time position. This is an office-based role at the company’s Blackburn office.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Provide comprehensive HR administration support across the business.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, employee documentation and HR databases.
  • \n
  • Support recruitment processes, including job advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination and offer management.
  • \n
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new employees and ensure all required documentation is completed.
  • \n
  • Monitor employee absence, holidays and sickness records.
  • \n
  • Support performance-management processes, including preparing appraisal documentation.
  • \n
  • Assist with employee-relations matters and escalate more complex issues where appropriate.
  • \n
  • Coordinate training and development activities across the business.
  • \n
  • Support payroll administration, including data input and liaison with payroll providers.
  • \n
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Ensure HR processes comply with company standards, GDPR and UK employment legislation.
  • \n
  • Provide general HR guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • \n
  • Complete additional HR duties as required.
  • \n
Skills & Experience\n
    \n
  • Between two and five years’ experience within an HR position.
  • \n
  • Previous experience within a legal or financial-services environment would be advantageous.
  • \n
  • Strong HR administration and record-management experience.
  • \n
  • Good understanding of HR policies, procedures and UK employment law.
  • \n
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee-relations processes.
  • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • \n
  • Proactive approach with the confidence to work independently and use initiative.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • \n
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
  • \n
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • \n
  • Experience using HR systems or payroll software would be beneficial.
  • \n
  • CIPD qualified or currently working towards a CIPD qualification would be advantageous, although study support can be provided.
