You'll work directly with the Financial Controller and get involved in the full picture, from month end and management accounts through to reconciliations, reporting and business partnering. It's ideal for a Part Qualified or AAT Accountant who wants to build skills fast and be trusted to make an impact.

Key responsibilities

• Month end close, prepayments, accruals and journals
\n
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
\n
• Balance Sheet and P&L reviews, bank and GL reconciliations
\n
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
\n
• VAT returns and tax reporting
\n
• Supporting year end accounts, financial statements and external audit
\n
• Driving improvements to finance processes and controls
\n

What we're looking for

\n
• AAT qualified or studying, or degree qualified in Finance or Accounting
\n
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
\n
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
\n
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
\n
• Confident Excel skills
\n
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
\n
