Technical ManagerLocation: Single Site LocationSalary: £40,000 per annumReports to: Technical Contract ManagerWe are recruiting for a Technical Manager to join a busy leisure facility, taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of maintenance and hard facilities management services at a single site. Working closely with the Technical Contract Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the building, plant, and associated services remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.This is a hands-on position suited to a technically qualified individual with experience in facilities management, building services, or maintenance environments.Key Responsibilities Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes across the site.Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.Manage a small team of techniciansCarry out and coordinate minor reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building fabric disciplines.Act as the first point of response for maintenance issues, ensuring faults are resolved promptly and efficiently.Monitor and supervise specialist contractors undertaking servicing, inspections, and repair works.Support the Technical Contract Manager with maintenance planning, contractor management, and project delivery.Work collaboratively with site management to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer experience.About You To be considered, you will ideally have:City & Guilds qualification or equivalent plumbing or a related trade discipline.Proven experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or technical services.Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.Experience managing contractors and service providers.Pool Plant Operator qualification or willingness to obtain this after appointment.What's on Offer Salary of £40,000 per annumStable, site-based roleOpportunity to work in a varied technical environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesChance to progress within a growing facilities management operationIf you're an experienced facilities or maintenance professional looking for a site-based Technical Manager position with responsibility and autonomy, we'd like to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
