Outreach Support WorkerSalary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum ( pro rata for part-time ) PLUS £1,200 annual car allowance plus mileageContract: Full-time or Part-time, PermanentLocation: Community-based across the Surrey / Hampshire area.We are delighted to be supporting a well-established and highly regarded organisation in their search for a compassionate and resilient Outreach Support Worker. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people as they transition to independent living, helping them build the skills, confidence and stability needed for adulthood.This is a community-based role where you will work independently with young people across your caseload, while benefiting from the support, guidance and collaboration of an experienced and highly supportive team.You will be joining a passionate and highly regarded team, committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support and achieving positive outcomes.The RoleAs an Outreach Support Worker, you will work directly with young people, providing tailored support to enable them to live independently and achieve positive outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Supporting young people to develop independence and essential life skillsHelping young people to develop transferable, lifelong independence skillsSupporting young people to improve communication and build positive relationships with peers, professionals and familyDelivering structured key-work sessions, including budgeting, education and tenancy supportSupporting young people to access education or training opportunities, including AQA programmes or local collegesHelping to increase self-esteem, self-belief and resilienceEncouraging positive behaviours and helping young people understand accountability and personal responsibilityUsing restorative approaches to support behaviour change and break negative cyclesSupporting young people with time management and accessing constructive, positive activitiesSignposting to local services, including housing, health, sexual health and recreational provisionSupporting young people to sustain accommodation.Providing emotional and practical support in a safe and supportive mannerMaintaining accurate records, reports and outcome tracking (including Outcomes Star)Working collaboratively with external agencies, local authorities and stakeholdersPromoting safeguarding, wellbeing and positive risk management at all timesAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is empathetic, organised and able to build strong, professional relationships with young people.You will bring:Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals (desirable)A sound understanding of safeguarding, child protection and leaving care legislationThe ability to work independently and manage a varied caseloadConfidence in recording information and producing clear reportsEmotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressureA flexible and proactive approachEssential requirements:Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle for workStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat's on Offer£1,200 annual car allowance plus mileageFull onboarding & training programmeTwice yearly bonus schemeFlexible working arrangements (no shift work)20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service)Additional birthday leaveCompany pensionMobile phone and laptop providedSupportive team environmentThis is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality support and making a lasting difference to young people's lives.To discuss this role in more details contact Hannah at Not For Profit PeopleTPBN1_UKTJ
