Due to continued growth and investment, we are now seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their established engineering team throughout the Greater London region.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with mechanical, electrical or electromechanical experience who is looking to develop new skills, receive specialist manufacturer training and build a long-term career within a growing and highly rewarding industry.Whether your background is in plant, forklifts, agricultural machinery, powered access, HGVs, automotive, maintenance engineering or industrial equipment, this role offers a clear pathway for progression and excellent earning potential.What's on Offer?Door-to-door paid travelOvertime available at 1.5x rate25 days holiday plus bank holidays (33 days total)Company vehicle and fuel cardLaptop and mobile equipment providedCompany pension schemeComprehensive 12-week structured onboarding programmeFull manufacturer training on industry-leading cleaning equipmentOngoing internal and external technical developmentOpportunities to gain additional electrical and mechanical qualificationsClear progression routes into Senior Engineer, Technical Support and Management positionsJoin a stable, innovative and growing organisation that genuinely invests in its peopleThe RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a wide range of industrial cleaning equipment across customer sites within approximately one hour of your home location.Your responsibilities will include:Attending customer sites to service, repair and install industrial cleaning equipmentDiagnosing and resolving electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical faultsCarrying out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown repairsWorking on petrol, diesel and LPG-powered enginesUsing electrical diagnostics and fault-finding equipmentCompleting service reports and updating job information accuratelyOrdering replacement parts when requiredManaging your workload efficiently to deliver excellent customer serviceEnsuring all work is completed safely and in line with company Health & Safety proceduresWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a mechanical, electrical or electromechanical engineering roleStrong fault-finding and repair skillsExperience working on engines, machinery or industrial equipmentConfidence using electrical and mechanical hand toolsExperience using diagnostic equipment would be advantageousA background in industries such as plant, forklifts, HGV, automotive, agricultural, powered access or maintenance engineering would be highly beneficialRelevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) are advantageous but not essentialFull UK Driving LicenceWhy Apply?This is more than just a service engineering role.
