Non-Medical Prescriber in Palliative CareUp to £51,132 per annumFull Time (37.5 hours) or Part Time (22.5 hours)Berkshire & South Oxfordshire HubsUse your prescribing expertise where it matters most.Are you a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) with a background in Palliative Care, Community Nursing or End of Life Care?This is an opportunity to join a specialist palliative care service where your prescribing skills and clinical expertise will make a genuine difference to patients living with complex, life-limiting illnesses.Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in delivering responsive, compassionate care that improves comfort, manages complex symptoms and supports patients and families when they need it most.Based from one of the Berkshire hubs, you'll work across local services throughout Berkshire West and South Oxfordshire, combining autonomous practice with close collaboration across community and specialist teams.The RoleAs a Non-Medical Prescriber, you'll use your advanced clinical knowledge to assess, manage and prescribe for patients with complex palliative care needs.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out comprehensive clinical assessmentsIndependently prescribing to support complex symptom managementDelivering expert palliative and end of life careProviding specialist advice and guidance to patients, carers and healthcare professionalsSupporting telephone triage and responding to clinical enquiriesWorking collaboratively with GPs, community teams and the wider multidisciplinary teamMaintaining accurate, high-quality clinical records while advocating for outstanding patient careAbout YouYou'll be an experienced clinician who is confident working autonomously while building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.You'll have:RGN with active NMC registrationV300 Non-Medical Prescribing qualificationPrevious palliative care experienceFull UK driving licence and access to your own vehicleExcellent communication, assessment and clinical decision-making skillsA genuine passion for delivering outstanding palliative and end of life careWhy Join?
