Site Manager x4 (High-Rise Retrofit & Cladding Replacement Programme)Location: Central BristolSalary: £52,000 + packageContract: Permanent, Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30)The RoleWe are recruiting four experienced Site Managers to lead an accelerated retrofit and cladding replacement programme across four high-rise residential blocks in central Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist contractor delivering capital and retrofit programmes within the social housing sector, with particular expertise in high-rise and high-risk buildings.Each Site Manager will take accountability for one to two of the tower blocks, overseeing project teams and works partners to deliver compliant, high-quality works on time and within budget.Interviews will be carried out as soon as possible, with offers expected to be made in August/September 2025.The ProjectDelivered on behalf of a local authority client, the four high-rise projects will be enclosed using tube and fitting scaffold or mast climbers to enable removal and replacement of existing render systems and brick slips. The scope also includes:Progressive removal and reinstatement of multiple MEP services alongside faade replacement worksEnhancement and replacement of roof level cappings and lightning protection systemsEnhancement and refreshment of existing landscaping and ground worksKey ResponsibilitiesProvide strong leadership and direction to project teams and works partnersPromote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental managementLead and monitor project strategies to support the company's sustainability objectivesIdentify and manage commercial riskBuild excellent relationships with client representatives, consultants and other stakeholdersDevelop strong relationships with the supply chainRecruit, train, develop and retain high quality site staffProvide technical support and advice to the client and project teamEnsure a robust strategy is in place for managing complaints and defectsDrive quality throughout the project lifecycle, with zero defects as the target on handoverWhat You'll NeedEssential:Experience delivering capital works and larger scale projects through subcontract/supply chain arrangementsExperience managing multiple projects, including works to mid and/or high rise, high risk buildings: external faade systems, roofing, fire remediation and protection systems, structural works, groundworks, concrete repairs, internal refurbishment, etc.Extensive end to end site project management experience in a similar environmentPre-construction and construction experienceUK driving licenceSMSTS and sound knowledge of safe systems of workScaffold inspection competencyRole appropriate CSCS cardFirst Aid at Work certificateTemporary Works Coordinator qualificationDesirable:Social Housing/ HRB Construction experienceRetrofit/capital works experienceExperience delivering retrofit projects to PAS 2035 or similar standardsTPBN1_UKTJ
