Job Title: Contracts Manager (Flooring - Nationwide Projects) Location: Manchester (projects nationwide) Salary: Negotiable up to £45,000 + Company Car + Bonus Scheme Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Holiday: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAn established and highly respected hard flooring contractor, recognised as one of the UK's leading specialists, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its growing management team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business delivering prestigious and technically diverse flooring projects across the country.The RoleAs Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing flooring contracts nationwide, delivering high-quality solutions across a broad range of flooring systems. You will ensure projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key flooring systems you will oversee include:Terrazzo, marble, and graniteCeramic tilingPermafloor and other specialist screedsMMA and epoxy resin systemsVinyl and resilient flooringCore responsibilities include:Managing and delivering multiple flooring contracts across the UKSupervising labour and delegating tasks effectivelyControlling project financial budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for moneyBuilding and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and workforceEnsuring accurate coordination between site teams and internal departmentsResearching and responding to evolving market trendsTravelling nationwide to project sites, with occasional overnight staysThis role requires a flexible and professional approach to work and hours, reflecting the demands of nationwide project delivery.Candidate RequirementsThe successful candidate will demonstrate:Proven experience in contract management, ideally within flooring or specialist construction environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation capabilitiesAbility to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a teamCommercial awareness and budget management experiencePeople management and staff supervision skillsTechnical proficiency across a range of flooring systemsCompetence with IT systems and project softwareProfessionalism, confidence, flexibility, and initiativeStrong networking and relationship-building skillsEnergy, resilience, and the ability to multi-task in a challenging environmentThe PackageSalary negotiable up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)Company carBonus scheme20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysA challenging and rewarding role on a diverse range of prestigious flooring projectsApply: Ready to bring your expertise to the team?
