Description The role will be assisting the UK property pricing team to deliver on our contractual obligations of our construction schedule, while maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer support. The team is in London.The team has broad ranging roles encompassing research, analysis, trend reporting on construction related costs as well as carrying out closed claim reviews, live claim audits, estimate exercises on behalf of insurers as well as providing insight and recommendations to the team manager.The role will also have day to day involvement in the delivery of our data analytics, trend reporting, construction consultation, custom pricelist building, general office duties and sales and service support.Responsibilities ResearchPrice list MaintenancePrice list AnalysisGeneral Data and Economic analysis, report creation and publicationResearch and creation of Ad hoc trend reportsPricing requests (liasing with customers/mailbox monitoring etc.)RelationshipsReports to:Manager, Xactware Pricing Data ServicesDevelop and maintain excellent bonding and rapport with all customers and prospects.Good working relationships with key construction industry representatives.Develop and maintain the trust and respect of The Company as someone who can be relied upon to deliver when necessary.Key Performance Indicators:Confidence of the UK Team and the wider community.Proven willingness to go the extra mile even when inconvenient.Achievement of agreed objectives or goals.Ensuring the successful publication of all building cost reports for the UK.Management of item placement and search tools for Reference, Related item, and Sketch item tablesExternal user assistance.Additional specialty research and preparation of other construction and/or custom related projects.Qualifications Must Have:Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in the UK construction or insurance fieldExperience as a buyer, surveyor, construction manager, engineer or adjuster in the UK marketAn ability to pay extreme attention to detailExcellent communication skills, in verbal and writing.Knowledge of construction practices and installation techniques.Experience in working with software estimating applications and Microsoft Excel'Ability to establish and measure personal and team goalsAbility to analyse data at a statistical levelPositive attitude,Desire to learn new skills,Should preferably have:Degree level qualification in Construction Management or other related fieldData analysis backgroundInsurance adjusting / surveying experienceExperience in working with software estimating.Skills & KnowledgeFirst-class communication skills, both oral and written are critical.Experience in working with software estimation applications and/or Microsoft Excel.Thorough understanding of UK construction practices and installation techniques for both residential and commercial structures.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.First class organisational skills of both self and othersEnsure that team members are operating in a precise and efficient manner to research and publish the cost databases.Ability to improve existing data collection processes.TPBN1_UKTJ
