Right at Home provide premium quality homecare to older people, those living with dementia and other vulnerable adults living within our local communities. Recognised as a progressive, high-quality, sector leader in the provision of health and social care, we are actively recruiting a Registered Manager for our office in Highams Park, to support the Franchise Owner, Office and Care Teams in the holistic delivery of outstanding care across our community.This role requires a person with exceptional people skills, a keen eye for detail and an astute business sense to lead, develop and grow a homecare service at the highest level of excellence. The ideal candidate will offer a great deal of flexibility, be focussed in achieving operational goals and possess the strength and determination to support us in taking our business to the next level.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo be accountable to the Franchise OwnerProvide leadership, management and the highest level of support to the team, to ensure exceptional outcomesAccountable for achieving the highest levels of compliance with regards to regulations, laws, quality standards & policies, ensuring we achieve a minimum of Good in regulatory inspections.Accountable for the health and safety of staff and Clients; ensuring the Health & Safety policy and procedures are followed at all times providing a safe working environmentDemonstrate the ability to lead by actively listening and responding to feedback and complaints.Ensure consistent application of Right at Home policies, procedures and approved practice; and to promote our aims and valuesSupport with safe Care Assistant recruitment, promote our brand, demonstrate our culture as an employer of choice, share positive content on social media, handle enquiries, interviews and facilitate onboardingContinually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered to our ClientsAbility to identify and recruit high quality Care Assistants, implement excellent training and maintain high retention ratiosEnsure the provision of staff training is implemented and the delivery of very high-quality care services, to vulnerable people living in their own home, is achieved consistentlyAbility to ensure the scheduling is effectively designed to ensure Care Assistants deliver the allocated care to the Client.Implement and maintain effective strategy to safeguard efficient completion of spot checks, audits and care reviewsCommunicate with respect and professionalism with all members of your Care and Office Teams, Managing Director and wider stakeholders.Maintain team compliance records for training and supervisions utilising My Learning Cloud to a high compliance standard.Plan, develop and deliver regular, relevant and timely team meetings with your Care and Office Teams. Record thorough actions and minutes that are disseminated to attendees.Ensure consistent quality of enquiry management for all incoming calls. Effectively train new employees in enquiry management to ensure consistency as we grow.Complete and continuously improve the assessments, risk assessments and care plans to ensure the outcome of the Client is achieved effectively and the customers expectations are exceededEnsure all payments due are received promptly; and Payroll and Invoicing is undertaken accuratelyWork to meet and exceed all financial/growth targets whilst participating in, and contributing to the strategic management of the businessCarry out regular observations on office team call handling techniques. Provide ongoing enquiry management training where required.Maintain your own CPD record by attending training deemed essential and beneficial to your role and the business needs.Maintain up to date knowledge on regulatory information, support and guidance.Maintain strong engagement with National Office initiatives and communication.Conduct thorough and timely internal audits using the required paperwork and reporting methods. Liaising closely with the national compliance team for support and guidance where appropriate.To be aware of Key Performance Indicators and to accurately record and report on a wide range of statistics to the Director as appropriateAd hoc duties to support the Managing Director, as and when required, to meet the needs of the businessEnsure you are a professional representative of the Company and the Right at Home brandEnsure the provision of high-quality care services to vulnerable people living in their own homeTo maintain appropriate systems to track, monitor and plan all staff supervision and appraisalsSet, monitor and review key performance indicators for individual staff members and the overall officeAudit computerised and manual records making sure they are kept up to dateTo liaise with other agencies involved with the Client to ensure the provision of integrated servicesPerson SpecificationQualifications & ExperienceHold or be working towards NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management and Leadership.Excellent understanding of CQC criteriaManagement experience of service provision in the care industryExperience of collating and exporting a range of reports to demonstrate business growth and areas for development such as care hours, recruits, retention and scheduling requirements in order to drive performanceMust hold UK/ EU driving licence, have daily use of a car and have class 1 business insuranceAbilities, Skills & Behaviours:Highly driven and ambitious, who has the desire to make a real difference and greatly improve an already well-established businessGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to talk passionately about our services and values to potential referral sourcesGood computer skills including proficient use of MS Office, the ability to produce reports and good computer systems knowledgeExcellent knowledge of Regulatory Frameworks and Regulatory Body Inspection processes and documentationSelf-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on-call system for out of office hoursExtremely well organized, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detailAbility to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships'Benefits:Company eventsCompany pensionEmployee discountReferral programmeStore discountTPBN1_UKTJ
