Quantity Surveyor

FM Conway is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Term Maintenance business unit, supporting our Camden Contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key commercial role on a high-profile contract, helping to deliver essential highway maintenance and public realm improvements that keep one of London's busiest boroughs moving safely and efficiently.Working as part of our established commercial team, you'll provide expert commercial support across both planned and reactive maintenance works, helping to drive performance, maximise value and support informed decision-making throughout the contract lifecycle. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent with occasional travel to other FM Conway locations.As our Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial aspects of planned and reactive highway maintenance worksUndertaking CVRs and ensuring accurate financial reportingPreparing cost estimates and valuations from task orders and project drawingsMonitoring contract performance, identifying commercial risks and opportunities, and implementing effective cost control measuresSupporting the administration of NEC Term Service Contracts and ensuring contractual complianceProducing and presenting monthly CVR reports to senior managementBuilding strong working relationships with operational teams, clients and key stakeholders to support successful contract deliveryWhat we're looking forWe're looking for a commercially astute and proactive Quantity Surveyor with experience within the highways maintenance, civil engineering or construction sectors.You'll have:A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplinePrevious experience managing commercial activities on highways or infrastructure contractsStrong working knowledge of NEC3 Term Service ContractsExperience producing monthly CVRs and managing contract financesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as occasional travel to other FM Conway locations will be requiredWhy join FM Conway?At FM Conway, you'll become part of a business that values its people just as much as its projects.
