Technical Project Manager - Teesside
Job Description
Technical Project Manager | Teesside | Up to £45,000 (DOE, flexible for the right person)
\nWe're a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Teesside, and we're on the hunt for a Technical Project Manager to help us keep pace with our expansion. If you love bringing order to complex technical projects and can talk confidently with engineers and clients, we want to hear from you.
\nThe Role:
\nYou'll own the delivery of technical projects from scoping through to handover, infrastructure rollouts, cloud migrations, network upgrades, security implementations, and everything in between. We need someone who understands the tech well enough to ask the right questions, spot risk early, and keep both engineers and clients on the same page.
\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n- \n
- Managing end-to-end delivery of technical projects, planning, resourcing, budgeting, risk management, and client communication \n
- Working closely with engineering teams to translate technical scope into deliverable project plans \n
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles \n
- Coordinating third-party vendors and suppliers where required \n
- Keeping projects on time, on budget, and on scope, and communicating clearly when they're not \n
- Contributing to continuous improvement of our project delivery processes as we scale \n
What We're Looking For
\nEssential:
\n- \n
- Proven track record of end-to-end delivery of technical/IT projects, ideally within an MSP, IT services, or similar technical environment \n
- Solid working knowledge of core IT infrastructure: networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switching), servers, cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or AWS), and virtualisation \n
- Confident using project management methodologies and tools (Prince2, Agile, or similar, PSA/PM tools such as ConnectWise, Autotask, or Monday.com a bonus) \n
- Strong stakeholder management skills, equally comfortable in a technical huddle or a client boardroom \n
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects \n
- Based in or commutable to Teesside \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- Relevant certifications (Prince2 Practitioner, PMP, ITIL, or similar) \n
- Background in cyber security, cloud migration, or telecoms projects \n
- Experience managing budgets and commercial project reporting \n
What's On Offer
\n- \n
- Salary up to £45,000, with flexibility for the right candidate \n
- A genuinely growing business with real opportunities for career progression \n
- A supportive, close-knit team that values technical curiosity \n
- The chance to shape project delivery processes as we scale \n
