HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver

Location: Northamptonshire (NN11)
Pay: £35,0000-£45,000 per annum. Overtime is paid at £22.50 per hour (after 40 hours)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am starts | Typically 7–10 hours per day

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Tanker Driver to join a well-established family-run business based in Northamptonshire.

\n

Our client has many years of experience servicing septic tanks, treatment plants, and commercial grease traps, and has built an excellent reputation for providing a professional and dependable service across the region.

\n

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering regular weekday work, local routes, and the chance to join a friendly and supportive team.

\n

Most work is carried out within approximately 90 minutes of the depot, meaning you'll benefit from varied work while still being home every night.

  • Operating a tanker vehicle to service septic tanks, grease traps, and treatment plants

  • Completing scheduled collections and disposals safely and efficiently
  • \n
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations

  • Providing a professional service to customers on-site
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork and records
  • \n

Requirements\n

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence preferred
  • \n
  • Class 2 (Category C) drivers will also be considered
  • \n
  • Valid CPC Qualification Card
  • \n
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • \n
  • Tanker experience beneficial but not essential
  • \n
  • Good communication skills
  • \n
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • \n
  • Reliable, hardworking, and professional approach
  • \n
